Auto Mechanic

About This Role

This auto mechanic role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles according to dealership and factory requirements. The position suits a self-driven, hardworking individual with technician experience who can work efficiently and effectively to support the service department.

Responsibilities

• Cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately, within dealership and factory requirements
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
• Perform vehicle repairs within current capability and skill level
• Conduct in-depth examinations of any vehicle under supervision to determine if safety or service work is needed or recommended
• Clearly document and record work performed on the repair order
• Effectively communicate with the designated service manager or advisor when adjustments and additional work are needed
• Road test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician / service manager
• Perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by the service manager

Requirements

• Technician experience
• 1+ year of experience (for A Techs, B Techs, C Techs, Lube Techs)
