About This Role
Working as an Auto Mechanic involves performing routine maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs on Japanese vehicles, including specific Toyota models and 3-ton pickup trucks. This role suits a skilled mechanic capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting various vehicle problems independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs on Japanese vehicles, including Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, and 3-ton pickup trucks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine-related problems using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment
- Conduct engine oil changes, filter replacements, brake servicing, suspension repairs, and other preventive maintenance activities
- Inspect and repair engine systems, transmission systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and braking systems
- Perform maintenance and repair work on 3-ton pickup trucks, including light commercial vehicle mechanical systems
- Identify vehicle faults and recommend necessary repairs or replacement of defective parts
- Carry out vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, safety, and proper operating condition
- Perform basic electrical repairs, including battery, starter motor, alternator, and wiring-related issues
- Maintain proper records of vehicle servicing, repairs, and replaced parts
- Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed efficiently and according to company standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the workshop
- Follow workshop safety procedures and use tools and equipment responsibly
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably with Japanese vehicles
- Hands-on experience with Toyota Camry, Corolla, and 3-ton pickup trucks
- Good knowledge of vehicle engines, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs independently
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and vehicle servicing procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and complete assigned tasks efficiently
- A valid UAE driving license is an advantage
