About This Role
This role is for a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to their original condition. It requires a passion for automotive repair, a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive repairs including bodywork, painting, and detailing
- Repair or replace damaged sheet metal and auto glass components
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues requiring repair
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and timelines
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Utilize welding techniques as necessary for repairs
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair, particularly in bodywork and collision repair
- Proficiency in working with sheet metal, auto glass, and fabrication techniques
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- 5 years of auto body repair experience (Required)
