Auditor - Billing and Payroll

About This Role

Auditing driver trips to ensure the accuracy of billing and payroll activities is the core of this position within the Finance team. The role plays a critical part in ensuring that all financial transactions are error-free and adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Audit unprofitable driver trips to ensure customer billing and driver pay accuracy
• Communicate findings to the Billing department and/or Operations when corrections are required and follow up on the resolution, escalating to senior levels when necessary
• Identify systemic issues and action them appropriately
• Maintain impeccable records of trips analyzed, communication logs, and the outcome of investigations
• Assist in the creation of the audit schedule and determine timing
• Prepare weekly reporting of findings for management

Requirements

• 3-4 years College diploma; or trade apprenticeship certification
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to consolidate, analyze, and summarize large amounts of data from a variety of sources
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication, relationship building, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
