About This Role
This Audio Engineer position at Hi-Tunes Studio is for a professional who can independently run recording sessions, provide excellent client experiences, and help the studio grow through strong customer service and sales skills. The role suits engineers who are comfortable upselling studio services.
Responsibilities
- Run recording sessions from setup to final export
- Set proper gain staging and headphone mixes
- Troubleshoot recording and monitoring issues
- Deliver a high-quality experience for every client
- Help generate repeat business and referrals
Requirements
- Must live within 20-30 minutes of the studio
- Minimum 2 years of recording experience
- Strong Pro Tools knowledge required
- Experience with Universal Audio Apollo interfaces and UAD Console preferred
- Experience recording and mixing vocals
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Comfortable upselling mixing, mastering, and premium studio services
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
