About the role

Contract: 6 months (Maternity Cover)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise, develop and implement educational programmes, resources and outreach initiatives for the respective audiences of CMSG, RBC, CCM and ArCH Square.
  • Ensure programmes are aligned with institutional strategies, audience needs and relevant learning frameworks.
  • Lead internal and external stakeholders in the co-development of educational programmes and resources, ensuring content is relevant, inclusive and aligned with learning outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with preschools, primary schools, institutes of higher learning, educators and community organisations.
  • Manage school programmes end-to-end, including planning, bookings, scheduling, staffing, logistics, delivery, evaluation and follow-up.
  • Develop proposals, project plans, reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Manage programme administration and operations including marketing, budget planning, visitor management, documentation, venue management and logistics.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, deployment and performance management of Museum Facilitators.
  • Evaluate programme effectiveness using participant, educator and stakeholder feedback, observations and relevant data to support continuous improvement.
  • Manage and liaise with vendors, suppliers and partners supporting education and outreach initiatives.
  • Supervise onsite and offsite educational programmes.
  • Supervise interns, junior, temporary and/or outsourced staff supporting school and public programmes.
  • Collaborate across departments and sites on programme development, operations, marketing and visitor experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Background in Education, Arts or Social Sciences.
  • Keen interest in the arts, heritage and museum sector.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in heritage projects or designing educational programmes, particularly programmes for children.
  • Experience within a museum environment and/or teaching primary or early childhood curriculum would be advantageous.
  • Creative, innovative and resourceful, with the willingness to explore new approaches.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Proactive with strong initiative and adaptability.
  • Comfortable working outside regular office hours when required, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • IT-savvy with practical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as social media marketing tools.
  • Proficiency in another non-English official language would be advantageous
