Client Overview

A well-established Sydney architectural firm specializing in premium residential developments, childcare facilities, and medium-density projects across rural and metropolitan council areas. The firm works on diverse, high-quality projects that require precise technical documentation and a deep understanding of Australian council submission processes.

Schedule

• Tuesday - Thursday, Flexible working hours Australian Eastern Time (Sydney) (20+ work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive architectural documentation for council submissions and development applications
• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using ArchiCAD software
• Collaborate on shared architectural models to ensure project consistency and accuracy
• Support the development application process with precise documentation standards
• Work across diverse project types, including high-end residential, childcare centers, and medium-density developments
• Ensure all drawings meet Australian council submission requirements and standards
• Maintain project timelines and quality standards for client deliverables
• Coordinate with the team to address project-specific requirements and revisions

Requirements

• 3-5 years of architectural drafting experience with a strong portfolio
• Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD software (essential requirement for model collaboration)
• Solid understanding of Australian council submission processes and development applications
• Experience with architectural documentation standards and technical drawing conventions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience with rural or semi-rural council requirements is a plus
• Familiarity with high-end residential or commercial project documentation is an advantage
