Workers’ Compensation Associate | Miami, FL (hybrid)– $170K

The firm began as a workers’ compensation boutique and continues to maintain a strong, sophisticated workers’ compensation defense practice for insurance carriers, self-insureds, TPAs, and employers ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies.

Key Duties:
- Defend workers’ compensation claims on behalf of carriers, self-insureds, and employers
- Manage cases from investigation through hearings, mediations, and appeals
- Handle discovery, medical evaluations, depositions, and motion practice
- Advise clients on claims strategy, exposure, and resolution
- Coordinate with colleagues across practice groups when matters intersect with other liability issues
Requirements:
- JD and active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
- 2–6+ years of workers’ compensation defense or strong related litigation experience
- Solid organizational, writing, and client communication skills
