Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and statutory interpretation.
• Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and briefs with precision and clarity.
• Prepare for trial through meticulous trial preparation, including organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and coordinating with witnesses.
• Represent clients in court depositions, hearings, and negotiations to advocate effectively on their behalf.
• Manage legal cases efficiently through robust case management practices, ensuring timely updates and documentation.
• Provide expert legal counsel across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury law, employment law, and general & commercial litigation.
• Communicate clearly with clients to explain legal options and strategies while maintaining professional client relationships.
• Stay current on procedural law knowledge and statutory updates to ensure compliance and effective advocacy.

Experience

• Proven experience in general litigation with exposure to personal injury cases and employment law is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in legal negotiation and advocacy within court settings or alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Prior experience with contract drafting, legal motion preparation, and trial support is essential.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw is required for efficient case analysis.
• Strong background in handling complex cases involving estate planning, environmental issues, immigration matters, or securities regulation is a plus.
• Experience working within a law office environment with proficiency in legal case management systems is preferred.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting detailed legal documents and persuasive arguments are necessary for success in this role.
