Attorney - Business Litigation Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of business or commercial litigation experience, including federal litigation
- Active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar
- Strong academic credentials with exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and tight deadlines simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with depositions, mediations, and court appearances
Attorney - Business Litigation Preferred Background & Skills
- Federal clerkship experience
- Experience working with Fortune 500 clients or complex commercial disputes
Attorney - Business Litigation Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, and conduct in-depth legal research to support all phases of litigation
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations and mediations
- Advise clients on a range of business disputes, including breach of contract, partnership disagreements, and risk management
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop effective case strategies
- Manage multiple complex caseloads, ensuring deadlines and professional standards are consistently met
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients through clear, consistent communication and outstanding service
