Duties

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel on estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant issues, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and personal injury cases.
• Draft and review contracts, legal motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Conduct thorough legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with procedural laws.
• Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case theories, and participating in court depositions and trial preparation activities.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions with effective advocacy skills.
• Manage multiple cases efficiently using legal case management systems while maintaining meticulous records of all case activities.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding case developments, legal options, and strategic recommendations to foster trust and transparency.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
• Proven experience in general & commercial litigation, employment law cases, personal injury law, and procedural law knowledge.
• Demonstrated expertise in estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant issues, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and related fields.
• Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for statutory legal research.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting legal documents and preparing court motions.
• Effective oral advocacy skills for court depositions and client negotiations.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience working within a law office setting or legal administrative environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of litigation procedures including trial preparation and legal motion filing processes.
