Are you ready to help shape the future of a legal, regulatory and compliance function in a modern, tech-driven environment? At Ledgebrook, we’re building a next-generation insurance infrastructure - fast, smart, and scalable - and are looking for an Attorney who excels in providing practical legal advice in a business-friendly manner.

This is a broad, commercially focused role offering direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to advise across:

• Reinsurance treaties, binding authority agreements, TPA and wholesale broker contracts
• Insurance regulatory filings and engagement with state and federal agencies
• U.S. insurance law, distribution and product-related matters
• Corporate governance, entity formation and international subsidiaries
• AI, privacy, cybersecurity and intellectual property
• The continued development of a responsive, business-enabling legal function

We’re particularly interested in speaking with attorneys who have:

• A J.D. and an active licence to practise in at least one U.S. state
• At least 10 years’ relevant legal experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. insurance laws and regulations
• In-house insurance experience or experience advising the insurance sector within private practice
• A practical, commercially minded approach to legal advice
• The agility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Experience in E&S insurance, delegated authority underwriting, fronting arrangements, reinsurance, ILS transactions or engagement with the NAIC and state insurance departments would be highly advantageous.

Compensation

• Base Salary Range. This is a good-faith compensation range based on what Ledgebrook reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of relevant factors including experience, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant factors.
• Employees in this position are eligible to participate in Ledgebrook’s equity incentive program.
