Role Description This Athletic Trainer (Intern) role is a contract, on-site position based in Columbia, SC. The intern will work directly with the USC Track and Field program on a team of 2 other certified ATs and multiple AT students.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a bachelor or masters degree in athletic training
- Candidates should possess strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with athletes, coaches, medical staff, and campus partners.
- Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining treatment records and managing supplies and equipment.
- Certification in CPR/AED is required; BOC certification required
- Ability to follow supervision, uphold confidentiality and safety standards, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful environment for student-athletes of all backgrounds and identities.
