Job Description
As an AVP Regulatory Compliance, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures in line with local regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Monitoring regulatory changes and advising relevant stakeholders on their potential impact.
- Providing guidance and training to internal teams to ensure compliance awareness across the organisation.
- Conducting regular compliance reviews and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management and external regulators as required.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance issues effectively.
- Supporting the implementation of regulatory projects and initiatives within the banking and financial services sector.
- Ensuring timely submission of regulatory filings and reports.
The Successful Applicant
A successful AVP Regulatory Compliance should have:
- 5-10 years of regulatory/general compliance from retail bank
- A strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements within the financial services industry.
- Relevant qualifications in law, finance, or related fields.
- Must be able to read and write chinese
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to analyze regulatory updates and implement necessary changes effectively.
