Essential Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to companion animals.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory and imaging results.
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, treatment options, and wellness recommendations.
- Perform surgery, dentistry, and medical procedures based on experience and comfort level.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care.
- Provide compassionate guidance and support for end-of-life decisions.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver an exceptional patient and client experience.
- Adhere to veterinary ethics, hospital policies, and applicable regulations.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active veterinary license in Georgia or ability to obtain licensure.
- Eligibility to obtain DEA registration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional approach.
- Ability to lift and carry patients and equipment, with assistance as needed.

Pay Range
USD $115,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
