Role Overview: This position involves supporting tax transformation projects by analyzing current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing future-state AI-driven tax experiences, workflows, and operating models. The role includes integrating finance and tax processes, documenting transaction flows, and ensuring compliance with controls and regulations such as SOX and ITGC. Utilizing AI, data, ERP systems, and automation tools, the candidate will assist with system testing, process documentation, and enhancing tax operations.
Responsibilities
- Map and analyze existing tax processes to identify risks and opportunities
- Design and collaborate on future tax workflows leveraging AI and technology
- Support system integration and process standardization post-transaction
- Assist in risk assessments, control testing, and compliance documentation
- Utilize automation tools for analysis, reconciliations, and process improvements
- Maintain professional integrity and foster a respectful work environment
Qualifications & Skills
- At least one year of relevant experience, preferably combining business, technology, and entrepreneurial thinking
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology
- Ownership mindset with experience handling large data volumes and applying tax knowledge to tech solutions
- Experience working cross-functionally and developing innovative solutions using AI
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts effectively
- Strong tech aptitude and quick learner of new software platforms
