Associate Sales Engineer Graduate

About This Role

This Associate Sales Engineering (ASE) Program offers hands-on experience and development opportunities for individuals starting a career in technical sales. You will work alongside experienced Sales Engineers and other team members, helping customers achieve their business and technology objectives. The role is ideal for someone who combines technical curiosity with strong communication and relationship-building skills, and who is eager to learn and explore how technology works.

Responsibilities

• Participate in program enhancements and the deployment of best practices
• Respond to technical pre-sales inquiries from partners and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate on projects that expand product knowledge and understanding of sales engineering practices
• Attend and assist with onsite and remote customer presentations and engagements
• Support solution demonstrations and technical discussions
• Prepare technical responses to customer proposals and follow up on customer questions
• Participate in developing lab proof-of-concept configurations based on defined test plans
• Deliver training sessions and workshops
• Learn customer requirements and help develop solutions aligned with their business needs
• Build familiarity with both Juniper Networks and HPE Aruba Networking technologies

Requirements

• Independently taught yourself a language, tool, technology, or skill
• Explored technology through a home lab, hackathon, personal project, certification, or similar activity
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as retail, hospitality, sales, support, or service
• Led a team, club, shift, organization, project, event, or similar activity
• Taught, tutored, trained, mentored, or presented to others
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Can manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities
• Work effectively as part of a team and are willing to learn collaboratively
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Early-career experience, including up to two years of experience in sales engineering, network operations, technical support, customer service, sales, leadership, or another related area
• Demonstrated self-directed learning, such as independently acquiring a skill, tool, certification, or technology
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, written, and verbal communication skills
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Willingness to relocate to Houston, Texas
• Willingness to relocate after program completion to an available Sales Engineer position identified by HPE Networking field leadership, which may be anywhere in the United States
