A Day in the Life
The Diabetes Operating Unit supports people living with diabetes through innovative therapies, devices, and patient support services. This role is part of the WeCare customer support organization, providing product, technical, and service support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals across multiple markets.
The position is based in Prague, Czech Republic, within a multilingual and international team environment. The role follows a Flexible work model combining office and home-based work. Travel is not expected beyond occasional business requirements.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals using Medtronic Diabetes products. You will provide product guidance, technical support, issue resolution, and customer education while ensuring a high-quality customer experience and supporting patient safety.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide product and technical support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals using Diabetes products and services.
- Resolve customer inquiries through phone, email, and other approved communication channels.
- Troubleshoot device-related issues and guide customers through product operation and usage.
- Coordinate product returns, replacements, and complaint documentation in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately document customer interactions, feedback, and case details within internal systems.
- Collaborate with quality, regulatory, sales, and marketing teams to support timely issue resolution.
- Identify recurring customer concerns and escalate trends that may impact product performance or patient safety.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- High School Diploma and 1+ year of experience in a customer service, contact center, helpdesk, or office support environment.
- Fluency in English and Polish.
- Experience using computer-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred experience includes supporting customers in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries, working with SAP or similar ERP systems, troubleshooting technical or medical products, operating in multilingual customer service environments, and knowledge of complaint handling, quality processes, and regulatory documentation requirements.
