Associate - Product Controller

About This Role

An Associate on the Card & Connected Commerce Controllers team helps power Chase Media Solutions by owning the end-to-end accounting for revenue and receivables, turning card-linked offer performance data into accurate financial outcomes. This role suits an accounting professional with strong analytical skills and a desire to work in a fast-evolving business.

Responsibilities

• Apply revenue recognition standards with precision
• Generate invoices
• Execute intercompany transfers
• Actively manage receivables to keep the business moving
• Independently investigate variances
• Perform deep-dive data mining
• Elevate reporting through thoughtful analysis and strong technical execution
• Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processes, including revenue recognition, invoicing, and receivables management
• Prepare balance sheet substantiation and support reconciliations (e.g., accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany)
• Deliver detailed analytical reporting to business managers and senior finance leadership
• Provide clear status updates and respond promptly to stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of related finance, accounting, or reporting experience
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage working towards rigorous deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel, plus Word and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, regulatory reporting, and internal control concepts
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
• ERP experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and strong general ledger familiarity

• Experience supporting card products, Card & Connected Commerce, or comparable consumer finance businesses
• Effective stakeholder management
• Ability to switch seamlessly between discussion and execution across multiple projects
