POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for maintaining and managing accurate and up-to-date employee data across various HR systems and platforms. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring data integrity, compliance, and efficiency within the HR function.

This role is part of Alcon's Human Resources function, a team that collaborates across the business to shape company culture, manage talent, align associates to our purpose, and support associate development to help our people and the world see brilliantly.

The Associate I, Master Data Management (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for being the first point of contact for Alcon associates and managers globally, providing guidance on HR topics and escalating issues as needed. You will learn and grow through documentation and team support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Resolve day-to-day tickets globally via Workday and Service Now, ensuring timely updates and system accuracy.
  • Act as first point of contact for questions from Alcon associates and managers
  • Process HR lifecycle changes: employment verifications, personnel file administration, new hire processes, employee data changes, onboarding, colleague referrals and others, following global and local processes and compliance guidelines and maintain confidentiality of employee data
  • E-File associates records in BOX repository
  • Support the creation of clear documentation, including SOPs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Handle client requests with politeness and detailed responses.
  • Build relationships and collaborate effectively within teams, supporting and respecting each other.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Supporting Countries : Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Phillippines
  • Systems : Workday, Service Now
  • Preferred Languages: Good to have Japanese speaker
  • Experience : 1-3 years preferred in HR Shared Services
