Job Summary
Happiest Minds is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager with strong Insurance domain expertise and proven experience managing large-scale .NET-based application development and modernization programs to lead and manage multiple projects and client engagements across digital transformation, cloud, enterprise applications, data, and product engineering initiatives. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery, stakeholder management, financial governance, resource planning, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction while aligning program outcomes with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple projects/programs for global customers.
- Define program governance, execution plans, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
- Drive project planning, estimation, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Ensure on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery of all program objectives.
- Monitor program health through KPIs, dashboards, and regular status reviews.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues across workstreams.
- Manage customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact for program-related discussions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, Product, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders.
- Drive resource planning, utilization, onboarding, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality processes and delivery standards.
- Support presales activities, effort estimations, solution reviews, and SOW creation.
- Facilitate executive-level reporting, governance meetings, and steering committee reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and delivery excellence across programs.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of IT industry experience with 5+ years in Program Management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale application development, digital transformation, cloud, or enterprise technology programs.
- Should have managed application development and support programs built on Microsoft technologies.
- Led and managed InsurTech initiatives across policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, distribution, agent portals, and digital transformation programs while collaborating with insurers and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing distributed teams across geographies.
- Excellent stakeholder, customer, and vendor management skills.
- Strong financial management experience including budgeting, revenue tracking, and margin management.
