About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the cost and contracts team across development and project works.
- Oversee cost planning, budgeting, estimates and value engineering exercises.
- Review tender documents, pricing schedules and contract-related submissions.
- Manage tender processes, evaluations, clarifications and award recommendations.
- Work closely with consultants, contractors and internal project teams on cost and contract matters.
- Monitor project costs, variations, claims, disputes and final accounts.
- Ensure proper contract administration and compliance with agreed commercial terms.
- Guide the team, improve work processes and ensure timely delivery of reports and submissions.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related field.
- Extensive experience in quantity surveying, cost management and contracts administration.
- Strong knowledge of tendering, cost planning, contract law, variations, claims and final accounts.
- Good leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
