Associate Director, Claims

About This Role

Assisting the CHO Claims Department Head in managing overall claims performance, claims risk, and management reporting is the core of this Associate Director role. It involves overseeing claims operations and ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist on overall claims performance management to ensure claims service standard and risk management
• Endorse and arbitrate cases over BU authority, complex appealed cases, and special cases within pre-set authority
• Draft and maintain AIA China claims rules and guidelines
• Conduct claims audit and risk management
• Assist on monitoring all claims KPIs
• Conduct claims reports, analysis of claims trend and data
• Provide technical training to BU claims assessment leader and expertise
• Innovate on claims processing and service
• Provide technical support during new product development
• Assist on the requirement from regulation and auditor
• Assist on management report for top management
• Support sales channel on claims data extract and claims training material

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in any discipline of Clinic Medical or Legal will be preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in claims assessment with at least 2 years’ experience on claims management
• Familiar with cross-functional operation works, such as UW and POS
• Fluent in English reading and writing
