Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Personal Injury & Workers' Compensation
Hyattsville, MD | Hybrid
A growing plaintiff-side law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with prior plaintiff personal injury and/or insurance defense experience to handle personal injury and workers' compensation matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury and workers' compensation cases from intake through resolution
- Handle litigation support, case strategy, negotiations, and client advocacy
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties
- Evaluate claims and develop case strategies
- Negotiate settlements and assist with litigation as needed
- Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff
Requirements
- Active Maryland Bar license in good standing
- Prior plaintiff personal injury and/or insurance defense experience required
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and case-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Strong commitment to client service and achieving favorable outcomes
Compensation & Benefits
- $90,000-$180,000+, depending on experience, litigation background, and results
