Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Assisted Living Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals at Alton’s Haven Home. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving the quality of life of our residents through attentive care, professionalism, and kindness. Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
This is a Part / Full-time position, with current priority shifts available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Additional shifts may become available based on scheduling needs. 36 hours per week

Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
* Monitor and report any changes in residents’ condition or health status
* Provide companionship and emotional support
* Administer medications as directed and follow care plans
* Assist with mobility, transportation, and appointments as needed
* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
* Perform light housekeeping duties
* Work closely with family members and healthcare professionals to support resident care
Qualifications
* Prior caregiving, assisted living, home health, or healthcare experience preferred
* Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Basic knowledge of caregiving techniques is a plus
Pay & Growth Opportunities
Starting pay is $11.50 per hour, with opportunities for raises based on strong performance, efficiency, and long-term commitment.
