The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences invites applications for a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist to join the Neuroradiology Division, a 26-member strong and growing team with subspecialty coverage in head and neck imaging and pediatric neuroradiology. This is an opportunity to practice at one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers in a full-time, traditional daytime position with full benefits and provision to balance clinical and academic time. The position may be at the assistant, associate, or full professor level based on candidate experience, with both tenured and non-tenure track appointments available.

Practice Highlights

• Adult neuroradiology position based at the IU Health Neuroscience Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, covering multiple in-state hospitals and imaging facilities.

• Traditional daytime schedule with no overnight call responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Total compensation (salary + benefits) is estimated between $610,000-$650,000 depending on academic rank, with ample opportunities for supplemental income.

• This position is eligible for a signing bonus of up to $100,000.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide high-quality clinical interpretation of the full spectrum of adult and pediatric diagnostic neuroradiology studies at the IU Health Neuroscience Center, including coverage of multiple in- state hospitals and imaging facilities.

• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty conferences and contribute to educational initiatives across the department and Academic Health Center.

• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in a supportive academic environment.

• Engage in scholarly activity, quality improvement, and faculty development opportunities aligned with the department’s four missions—clinical, research, education, and culture.

Basic Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO degree (doctorate or terminal degree required).

• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology.

• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology and/or eligibility for subspecialty CAQ certification in Neuroradiology.

• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Indiana.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and qualities that further the clinical, academic, and research missions of the department.

• A track record and commitment to education and scholarship in at least one mission area is expected.

• Research experience and grant funding are assets but not required.
