Description
The Assistant Superintendent will support the Superintendent and Project Team in managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
- Assist with coordination of subcontractors and daily site activities
- Support planning and execution of project schedules and milestones
- Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed to specifications
- Promote and enforce site safety procedures and compliance standards
- Participate in project meetings and progress reporting
- Track site logistics, deliveries and workforce coordination
- Help drive project completion through proactive problem-solving and communication
- Long-term travel primarily throughout Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina
Profile
For the Assistant Superintendent we are seeking:
- Construction Management, Engineering or related degree preferred
- Experience with a reputable general contractor through full-time roles or strong internships
- Demonstrated career progression and stable employment history
- Exposure to commercial construction projects, ideally $50 million+ in value
- Experience within multifamily, senior living, student housing or similar large-scale projects is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast paced project environment
- Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast as project needs require
