- Able to use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Able to read, understand and sort meter parts.
- Operate computer programs related to sorting meters.
- An Assistant Storekeeper with 0-5 years of experience is typically in an entry-level or junior position, assisting with various materials support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Housekeeping such as sweeping, wiping rails, breaking down cardboard boxes, and disposing of trash.
- Transporting materials, loading trucks, and emptying trash containers.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Sorting, inspecting, and cleaning electrical meters.
- Learn and use relevant software and systems.
- Certifications:
- Certified Forklift Operations
