Duties

• Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
• Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members.
• Assist in employee orientation, training, and development to build a high-performing retail team.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential.
• Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash handling, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity.
• Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities aligned with company policies.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting to meet financial targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively.
• Supervise shift management, employee scheduling, and payroll processing to maintain optimal staffing levels.
• Maintain organized records of sales transactions, bookkeeping, and operational documentation.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and motivation.

Experience

• Proven management experience within the retail industry or similar environment, preferably as an assistant manager or supervisor.
• Demonstrated success in retail sales management, including team supervision and operational oversight.
• Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, POS systems, purchasing procedures, and cash handling protocols.
• Experience with retail math including pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills for managerial conversations, customer interactions, and team collaboration.
• Basic math proficiency for cash register operations and inventory calculations.
• Knowledge of retail product lines and merchandising principles to enhance store presentation.
