Assistant Store Manager

About This Role

This Assistant Store Manager role is for a natural salesperson who enjoys motivating and coaching people, and who strives for the best results as a true team player. As the right hand of the Store Manager, you will be jointly responsible for optimizing in-store tasks and sales results.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the store always looks spick and span and perform the necessary routine tasks for this
• Roll out weekly campaigns to attract customers
• Radiate positivity and motivate colleagues to do the same: sell products with a smile
• Support the Store Manager in managing and coaching colleagues and provide them with sales training and tips & tricks

Requirements

• Natural motivator with experience in managing and developing a team
• Strong communicator and finds the right words to inspire a team
• Enthusiastic salesperson and becomes a true JYSK ambassador
• Feels responsible for customer service and store results
• Commercial attitude
• Stress-resistant, keeps a cool head and provides direction when needed
• Always strives for better results, but does not give up when things are difficult
• Willing to split the weekend into 2 separate days and work on Saturdays, as there are the most customers to help then
• Sees self as a future store manager and works towards this
