The Department of Psychology at Northwestern University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the department’s Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Program.Applicants should have a research focusinCognitive Neuroscience, Affective Neuroscience,ora closely related discipline.
TheanticipatedstartdateisSeptember1,2027. The position is full time, and progress will be evaluated through a reappointment process mid-way along the tenure clock. The successful candidate will maintain an active, independent research program, teach a combination of graduate and undergraduate courses, and fulfill department service obligations commensurate with rank. PhD or similar terminal degree required.

Salary
The expected base pay range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000.
This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment, does not include summer salary, and is subject to negotiation.
