Job Summary

The Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, through the College of Literature Science and the Arts (LSA), seeks an outstanding tenure-track assistant professor to join our faculty through the 2026-27 LSA Collegiate Fellows Program (LCFP). The LCFP aims to recruit and hire exceptional early-career faculty who have engaged in efforts to increase access and inclusion in higher education through their teaching and mentoring, and/or research and scholarship, and/or service and engagement. Required Qualifications*

Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentorship. The program seeks applicants whose research, and/or teaching, and/or service have contributed to efforts to reduce educational disparities based on factors such as race, ethnicity, first generation status, familial income, disability, sexual orientation, gender, immigrant status, and veteran status among other factors. New faculty will be expected to establish an independent research program.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
