About the role
Join a dynamic healthcare team as an Assisted Nurse Manager in a Medical-Surgical Unit, responsible for overseeing high-quality patient care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions. Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing comprehensive nursing care, including patient assessments, developing care plans, and monitoring patient progress.
- Administering medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams such as physicians, case managers, pharmacists, and rehabilitation services to ensure coordinated care.
- Educating patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge planning.
- Recognizing patient condition changes and intervening promptly to ensure safety.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications Include
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current valid RN license in the appropriate state or a multi-state/compact license.
- At least one year of medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Successful completion of skills validation, competency testing, and leader education & training.
