Responsibilities Include
- Administrative Leadership: Assisting in developing quality improvement initiatives, providing staff feedback, conducting performance evaluations, supporting professional development, and fostering staff participation.
- Operations Management: Ensuring adequate staffing, maintaining a safe environment, coordinating patient care, onboarding new staff, and collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient flow and compliance with standards.
- Financial Oversight: Identifying resource needs, managing costs, and balancing patient care quality with cost-effectiveness.
- Professional Development: Engaging in leadership activities, maintaining current knowledge of nursing practices, fostering staff education, and representing the nursing profession externally.
Qualifications: Requires a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN preferred, at least two years of clinical nursing experience, and one year in leadership. Must hold a current RN license, BLS certification, and specialty certification within six months if applicable. Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and performance improvement skills.
