We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing shift schedules, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Lead team training and development initiatives to uphold service standards, food safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation by supervising kitchen activities and maintaining food safety standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports.
- Support customer service excellence by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling.
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality management roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and financial reconciliation.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and inventory control procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively, including staff training, interviewing, and performance coaching.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as shift management, managing hospitality teams, and managerial communication.
- Experience in managing hospitality operations including casual dining, catering, banquet services or bar environments is preferred.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
