Assistant Manager - Public Relations

About This Role

This role is for an Assistant Manager in Public Relations, supporting the development and execution of PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and strengthen media relationships. The position focuses on maintaining Quintessentially's standing within the luxury ecosystem, requiring strong media networking and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the overall PR and media strategy aligned with business objectives
• Build and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, influencers, and media houses across luxury and lifestyle segments
• Draft and distribute press releases, media notes, articles, and other PR communication materials
• Pitch stories, features, and brand initiatives to relevant media publications
• Coordinate media interviews, brand coverage opportunities, and press interactions
• Track, monitor, and report media coverage and competitor activity
• Support planning and execution of media events, partner events, and brand activations
• Assist in managing member engagement communication from a PR perspective (newsletters, event announcements, thematic communications)
• Identify potential brand collaborations and partnership opportunities within the luxury space
• Maintain a strong network within luxury lifestyle circles (fashion, hospitality, restaurants, events, etc.)
• Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all external communications
• Support crisis communication initiatives as and when required

Requirements

• 4
• 6 years of experience in Public Relations preferably within luxury hospitality or lifestyle sectors
• Prior experience in agency or luxury brand PR is preferred
• Strong media network and proven track record of securing coverage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong press release writing and pitching skills
• Proactive organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Bachelor
• s degree in Communications Marketing Business or related field
