Assistant Manager - Operations

About This Role

This operations role involves supervising and coordinating customer service teams, providing both remote and walk-in support, and leading the development of solutions. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily operations and team activities, ensuring efficient customer service across various channels.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and walk-in customer support
• Lead solution development
• Manage daily operations
• Oversee team activities
• Act as liaison between customers, production, and distribution departments related to specific customer orders
• Provide technical and non-technical customer support in a walk-in service center
• Share best practices and advice with co-workers in the professional area
• Generate own workload and outline directions to others
• Supervise and coordinate lower-level specialists, acting as a single point of contact in complex matters
• Coordinate daily operations, enable, and oversee the implementation of short to medium-term activities within the team
• Deliver input to policies, processes, and standards, where decisions are of tactical and operational nature within a defined scope
• Manage a mixed team of Specialist and Support jobs, with full employee lifecycle responsibility

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge in customer service with experience in supervising and coordinating teams
• Advanced knowledge and experience in the professional area
