Assistant Manager, Operations

About This Role

This role is for an Assistant Operations Manager who will help to oversee the operations function within the boutique. The Assistant Manager acts as an expert on all Standard Operating Procedures, systems, and tools, ensuring smooth operations to enable the ultimate client experience. They will work closely with the Operations Manager and Boutique Leaders to impart critical business knowledge and maintain operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own key operational functions within the Boutique including inventory control, cycle counts, shipping and receiving
• Support facilities management, security, and compliance
• Collaborate with the Home Office Retail Operations team to execute strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency
• Coach and inspire the team to uphold and deliver operational excellence
• Contribute to a positive working environment and support a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork
• Be the ultimate expert on all Standard Operating Procedures, Systems and Tools, and act as a resource for the entire Boutique Team
• Support the team through various projects, initiatives, sales, and customer services
• Manage product request and movement while upholding organizational standards

Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of, and passion for, client experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives
• Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL
• In-store presence required to facilitate the opening and closing of the boutique; the receiving of inventory; shipping of product to support sales to ensure optimal client service
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
• Ability to lift 15 lbs
• A flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays
