Assistant Manager / Executive, Leasing

About This Role

This role involves identifying and securing tenants for a real estate portfolio, managing lease negotiations, and developing new business opportunities. It suits a professional with strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to maximizing occupancy and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective tenants and conduct site viewings, with follow-ups
• Lead negotiations for new leases, renewals, expansions, and consolidations of assigned building clusters
• Translate leads and opportunities into deal closures
• Develop new business opportunities and cross-sell products to customers and their business partners
• Work with asset managers to maximize building occupancy and revenue
• Develop and work with the marketing team to implement marketing strategies
• Monitor market trends on supply and demand of business space
• Build networking channels with tenants and agents
• Be an overall "Brand Ambassador" to enhance brand equity
• Forecast revenue routinely through portfolio and lease assessments
• Prepare rental reports, cash flows, and analyze variances
• Initiate and close-out transactions to meet target plan
• Understand asset profitability to contribute solutions to improve whilst meeting tenant occupational needs

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Estate Management, Building, or equivalent
• Preferably minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in similar capacity
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Possess positive disposition and resourcefulness
• Be a team player
