A Leading Diversified Business Group in Bangladesh is looking for Assistant Manager - AI & IT (Python & Software Development)
Job Description / Responsibility
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager – IT to drive AI adoption, automation, and in-house software development. The role will focus on building Python-based solutions, contributing to ERP development, and developing practical AI/ML applications that improve business processes across the organization.
Responsibility:
- Identify and develop AI-driven automation solutions for repetitive business processes across HR, Finance, Merchandising, and Operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based tools, scripts, and internal applications .
- Contribute hands-on to in-house ERP development across Finance, HR, Procurement, Production, and Supply Chain modules.
- Evaluate and implement practical AI/ML use cases , including predictive analytics, anomaly detection, NLP, and LLM/API integrations.
- Support AI-enabled solutions under Manufacturing Intelligence initiatives.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes for business and leadership demonstrations.
- Maintain clean, documented, version-controlled code using Git and follow structured SDLC practices.
- Research emerging AI tools and frameworks and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
Educational Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from a reputed public/private university.
- Skills Required: Python, Machine Learning, Software Development, SQL Database, Artificial intelligence (AI), API Integration, Web ERP Development, Generative AI, version control systems (GIT)
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Software Company,Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies,Garments,Textile,Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM),Garments Accessories,Washing Factory
Additional Requirements
- Core Language Strong hands-on Python (mandatory).
- Frameworks Familiarity with Pandas, Flask/Django/FastAPI, and at least one ML library (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
- Database SQL proficiency — schema design and query optimization.
- AI Exposure Real applied projects (not just coursework) — e.g., automation scripts, predictive models, LLM/API integrations.
- Soft Skills Self-driven, comfortable working in an evolving/ambiguous scope, strong communication with non-technical stakeholders
