About the Role
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to provide day-to-day operational support to our team in Nambour.
Working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team, you’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional service to our customers — the lifeblood of the electrical industry in Australia. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting others, working collaboratively, and contributing to a positive customer experience.
Your Role
As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the branch while helping to create a positive and high-performing team environment. You’ll:
- Ensure customers receive friendly, efficient, and professional service
- Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to help foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture
- Support compliance with company procedures and contribute to a strong safety-first culture
- Work closely with the Branch Manager and team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to branch performance through a hands-on and team-focused approach
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings initiative, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for customer service and team success. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience in a customer-facing role, with an interest in sales and operational excellence
- A proactive approach and a strong desire to learn and develop your career
- Experience leading, mentoring, or supporting others is desirable
- Experience in electrical wholesaling, trades, or the building and construction industry will be highly regarded
