Assistant HR Manager / HR Manager

About This Role

This role is responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR functions, serving as a strategic business partner while overseeing Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Succession Planning. The role supports a large and diverse workforce, ensuring effective HR service delivery, compliance, and the implementation of people strategies that align with the organisation's business objectives. The incumbent will work closely with business leaders and department heads on workforce planning, employee relations, organisational development, talent retention, leadership development, and other people-related matters, ensuring consistent HR practices across the organisation and supporting a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department and ensure the smooth delivery of HR services
• Supervise and coach a small HR team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
• Manage and oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment support, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, employee movements, and offboarding
• Ensure HR records, employee files, and HR systems are maintained accurately and confidentially
• Review and improve HR processes to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
• Support business leaders and line managers by providing timely HR advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce matters
• Execute annual salary review, bonus, and incentive exercises
• Administer employee compensation and benefits programmes
• Coordinate and administer the annual performance management cycle
• Handle employee relations matters including counselling, disciplinary issues, grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive Human Resource experience, with experience handling the full spectrum of HR functions
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity
• Hands-on experience in Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Talent Management, and HR Business Partnering
• Experience in salary benchmarking and annual compensation review exercises
• Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations, and HR best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS)
