Role Description The Assistant Event Manager / Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pattaya. This role supports the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events, ensuring they align with brand standards and guest expectations. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clients to understand event requirements, preparing proposals, and managing event timelines and logistics. The role works closely with internal departments such as Sales, Banqueting, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Technical Services to ensure seamless delivery of each event. The Assistant Event Manager / Executive also monitors event setup, supports on-the-day operations, handles last-minute adjustments, and follows up with clients to gather feedback and support future business.
Qualifications
- Event planning and coordination skills, including experience with meetings, conferences, and social events.
- Strong client service and relationship management abilities, with a focus on understanding guest needs and delivering personalized experiences.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines effectively.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional hotel teams and external partners.
- Basic financial and administrative skills, such as preparing quotations, tracking event budgets, and managing documentation.
- Proficiency in common office and hotel systems; knowledge of event management or property management software is an advantage.
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, or a related customer-facing role preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills and familiarity with local market in Pattaya are an asset.
