Assistant Event Manager / Event Manager

About This Role

This role is for an event professional to join a creative team within a lifestyle PR and event agency. It involves supporting the Director in planning and executing various projects, from small events to large-scale marketing and social media campaigns, and requires a passion for event management, concept development, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard client servicing as a professional problem solver
• Assist the Director to plan and execute projects including small to large scale events, marketing campaigns, design and production projects, and social media campaigns
• Brainstorm and generate marketing event concepts/ideas to support the Director on new business pitches
• Craft and execute overall marketing ideas, event planning, celebrity/KOL management, marketing material development, and MC management with script writing
• Assist in social media campaigns by providing copywriting and creative content creation
• Develop creative video from concept to content and script development
• Work closely with the Design team and third parties to carry out smooth event and marketing campaigns
• Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Strong passion for the event marketing field and eager to learn digital marketing skills
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in an event or advertising agency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
• Friendly, flexible and able to work as a team leader and team player with a professional approach to work
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, detail oriented and organized with strong project management skills
• Have a positive, can-do attitude approach to all aspects of the role
