This position serves as the full-time Assistant Coach for the men's and women's golf programs, reporting directly to the Head Golf Coach. The Assistant Coach provides leadership and support in the recruitment, development, and success of student-athletes.
Qualifications Minimum education, experience, licenses, certifications, and competencies (knowledge, skills, and behaviors) which are necessary for performing the listed duties.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Proven experience in teaching, coaching, and the ability to demonstrate proper techniques unique to the sport
- CPR and First Aid or a willingness to become certified within three months of hire
- Have knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of cultural differences and the diversity within the campus and community.
Further preferred qualifications which are also desirable for performing the listed duties.
- Collegiate or professional playing experience in the sport
- Experience in recruiting college-level varsity athletes
