About the role

Role Overview The Assembler I constructs and assembles truss, wall, or floor components or finished products per customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up work areas and operate hand tools such as hammers, saws, nail guns, and tape measures.
  • Fit parts together following instructions and quality standards.
  • Stack, cover, label, and band completed products as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including equipment inspections.
  • Check materials and finished products for compliance, making corrections when necessary.
  • Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and team programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; no minimum experience required, but 6 months manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Basic math knowledge and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift lumber safely, and tolerate weather conditions.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
