Role Overview The Assembler I constructs and assembles truss, wall, or floor components or finished products per customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up work areas and operate hand tools such as hammers, saws, nail guns, and tape measures.
- Fit parts together following instructions and quality standards.
- Stack, cover, label, and band completed products as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including equipment inspections.
- Check materials and finished products for compliance, making corrections when necessary.
- Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and team programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred; no minimum experience required, but 6 months manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Basic math knowledge and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift lumber safely, and tolerate weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
