About This Role
This role involves the assembly and inspection of ceramic electronic connectors and piece parts into final assemblies. It requires precision hand soldering and the ability to work with small components and tools, making it suitable for an individual with a keen eye for detail and experience in electronic assembly.
Responsibilities
- Assemble ceramic electronic connectors
- Assemble piece parts into final assemblies
- Perform hand soldering operations on small components
- Clean assemblies
- Inspect ceramic electronic connectors
- Perform visual inspection
- Test using automated or manual electrical test equipment
- Perform set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- 2 years previous experience
- Experience with soldering required
- Previous soldering certification desirable
- Ability to handle/use small tools and components (tweezers, pliers, cutters, soldering iron, ovens and electrical test equipment)
- Able to work under a microscope
- US Citizen
