Assembler

About This Role

An assembler who works carefully and keeps a tidy workspace will fit well in the production team. This role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components for wireless test systems, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using hand tools and precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Use hand tools, precision measuring tools, and shop equipment to assemble components according to specifications
• Use hand tools, shop equipment, and power tools to set up machinery for production
• Use hand tools, shop equipment, power tools, and hand tools to disassemble machinery for disassembly
• Interpret drawings and schematics
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components
• Travel to customers on short notice, which requires consistent and reliable personal transportation (company pays for transportation)
• Perform other duties as required to support the production process
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience assembling products
• Experience working in a manufacturing or order fulfillment environment
• Ability to use basic hand tools including drills, saws, hammers, wrenches etc.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision while also being able to work in a team environment with others as part of a production team

Nice to have:

• College diploma or University degree
• Ability to read blueprints
