ASME Authorized Inspector (AI)

About Us:

We are seeking a highly skilled ASME Authorized Inspector to ensure boilers, pressure vessels, and piping systems meet the highest engineering and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct shop and field inspections at critical stages of fabrication and assembly.
- Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and proof tests as well as non-destructive examinations (NDE) .
- Ensure calibration and verification of inspection and test equipment.
- Maintain detailed ASME Inspector Diary documenting inspections, findings, and witnessing events.
- Verify materials, metallurgical traceability, and quality records comply with ASME BPV Code.
- Review and validate engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations against code requirements.
- Confirm WPS, PQR, and welder/operator qualifications , ensuring repairs meet ASME standards.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming conditions , ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Ensure all ASME BPV Code requirements are met before applying the U-stamp , including proper nameplate and National Board registration marks .
- Participate in joint reviews with Certificate Holder and AI Supervisors.

- Proven experience in pressure vessel and boiler inspections
- Strong knowledge of ASME BPV Code and National Board regulations
- Experience in third-party inspections and NDE methods
- High attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to safety and quality
