The Coburg State Theatre is a traditional three-division house (musical theatre, drama, ballet) with a regional reach. As an operating division of the City of Coburg, the theatre employs around 240 staff and currently uses the GLOBE Coburg as a highly modern interim venue during the general renovation of the historic Great House, as well as the Reithalle studio stage. Each season, the theatre delights approximately 90,000 to 100,000 spectators in around 300 to 400 performances.
